About the Avengers
The Avengers were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, first appearing in The Avengers #1 in 1963. The Marvel Cinematic Universe adapted them beginning with Iron Man (2008) and culminating in Avengers: Endgame (2019) — the highest-grossing film in history.
The MCU's 12-year Infinity Saga created one of cinema's greatest ensemble stories, weaving 23 films into a coherent narrative that changed how studios approach franchises forever.
